The University of South Carolina Union Bantams snagged a late lead and defeated Erskine JV 7-3 on Wednesday, February 16. The game was tied at three with the Bantams batting in the bottom of the fifth when Trent Turner singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Erskine JV captured the lead in the second inning when Trevor Linaman‘s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Erskine JV. Linaman toed the rubber for the Bantams. The fireballer allowed one hit and three runs over three innings, striking out four. #37 was on the mound for Erskine JV. Bryson Daniel was on the mound for the Bantams. The hurler went two innings, allowing four runs on five hits, striking out one and walking one.
