Personal: Bobby Holcombe is originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. Bobby started out with an Associate Degree at Spartanburg Methodist, and he later transferred to Limestone College where he majored in Business. After his undergrad, Bobby worked in retail business management. However, he realized that business was not the career for him. So, Bobby made a career change to higher education. Soon thereafter he pursued a Master’s Degree in Education at the University of South Carolina. He has a passion to help people achieve an affordable college education.
“USC Union gave me the opportunity to go outside my county to strengthen other individuals,” says Bobby, “I want to help people reach their college education goals by making it affordable for them.”
In his spare time, Bobby enjoys gardening, cooking, and entertaining people. He also loves relaxing by lake or ocean water fronts. During a hard seven months of grieving, Bobby received the best life advice from a close friend: “Without a test, there’s not a testimony.”
