Education: University of South Carolina Upstate – Psychology Major
Personal: Born and raised in Union, South Carolina, Chakira Worthy graduated from USC Upstate as a Psychology Major. She chose to work at USC Union to give back to her hometown and help the university to expand. 
In the future, she plans to pursue a career as a guidance counselor.
During her free time, Chakira loves to watch her six-year-old son, Jayden, play baseball. Her favorite food is spaghetti.
The Student Academic Success Center Located is on the lower floor of the Main Building. It offers a wide variety of services for students to help them meet their academic needs. The SASC has qualified tutors that are available for traditional tutoriing, group sessions, and one-on-one sessions. The Center also has a program which engalbes students to sign out loaner equipment that may be needed to be more successful in their classes.
