Game 1: USC Union’s Bantams Baseball team coasted to an easy victory over Limestone 11-1 on Wednesday. The Bantams got things started in the first inning when an error scored one run.
The Bantams tallied five runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by The Bantams was led by Kris Levinstiens, Seth Jones, Tyler Strickland, Jak Evertt, and Trent Turner, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Jared Penland led things off on the mound for The Bantams. The ace went three innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out four.

In the third Tyler Strickland homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs and an error scored two runs for The Bantams. Bryson Daniel got the start for The Bantams. Daniel lasted two innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out two and walking zero.
Walker was on the mound for Limestone. The hurler lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. #12, #46, #15, and #39 each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, one inning, one inning, and one inning respectively.
