Bantams Soccer (#6) Defeats USC Sumter (#3) in Double Overtime

USC Union Bantams Soccer team was sixth seed going into the NJCAA Region 10 Tournament. They won their first region game (5-4) against third ranked USC Sumter on October 25th in double overtime.

Nico Steinweg (Dortmund, Germany) led scored two goals, while Ethan Phillips (Lugoff, SC), Niklas Winter (Schonberg, Germany), and Evan Vonner (France) completed the win with one goal each. Bantam goalie, Andrea Ferri (Nice, France), had 15 saves during the game. 

Bantams scored once in the first half and four times during second over time. The Bantams will advance to play Richard Bland College on Friday, October 28 at Spartanburg Methodist College at 3:30.
