Bucks for Bantams Campaign

USC Union rolled out a new sponsorship campaign on July 1. “Bucks for Bantams” will be a month-long campaign to raise needed funds for the growing Bantam athletic department.

To help our students succeed, scholarships and donations guarantee that USC Union can provide student athletes with updated facilities, knowledgeable leadership, and home fields to be proud of.

“We are trying a new type of sponsorship this year and really enthusiastic about July’s “Bucks for Bantams”. Any sponsor that donates over $500 will have a banner with donor’s name or business at each home field during the season. Also, the largest donation submitted by July 31st will have a tailgate party hosted by USC Union at the game of their choice!” said Annie Smith, USC Union’s Director of Marketing and Development.

The athletic department consists of four (JUCO) National Junior College Athletic Association teams: women’s softball, men’s baseball, men’s soccer, and women’s volleyball, and three club teams: rifle team, bass fishing, and e-gaming. USC Union will welcome over 109 athletes in the fall, with 11 being international students and 33 non-South Carolina residents. Last year, the athletic department was consistent with study hall and ended the year with a combined GPA of 3.41!

Smith also said, “We made it extremely easy to donate by simply visiting USC Union’s website and clicking on one link. If anyone has any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out via cell (864) 979-1818 or email alsmith@mailbox.sc.edu. USC Union appreciates the generosity from all of donors!”

Our supporters play a very special role in the success of our students and their continuous support of USC Union is important to our growing campus. If a donor would rather send a check, they can mail it to USC Union, PO Drawer 729, Attention: Annie Smith, Union SC 29379.
