Union County Carnegie Library: 2019 National Medal for Museum & Library Service Finalist

The National Medal for Museum and Library Service is the nation’s highest honor for institutions that make significant and exceptional contributions to their communities. Since 1994, IMLS has presented the award to institutions that demonstrate extraordinary and innovative approaches to community service.

Today, the Institute of Museum and Library Services named the Union County Carnegie Library as a finalist for the National Medal for Museum and Library Service. This prestigious award honors institutions for their extraordinary public service and remarkable community contributions.

This is huge news for Carnegie and Union County. USC Union is extremely proud to be a part of this organization! Congratulations to all 30 finalists!
