Lady Bantams Triumph Over Monroe College in First Conference Tournament Game

USC Union were triumphant over Monroe
College 6-4 on Thursday, May 2!

An error put Monroe College on the board in the bottom of the third.


USC Union took the lead in the top of the fifth inning after Brianna Compton doubled, and Peyton Morris singled, each scoring two runs.


Compton started the game for USC Union.
The right-handed pitcher gave up eight hits and four runs (two earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking two.


USC Union tallied 11 hits in the game. Morris went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead USC Union in hits. Bailey Stewart and Gracie Starnes each collected multiple hits for USC Union. Starnes stole three bases. USC Union ran wild on the base paths, collecting four stolen bases for the game.
