The USC Union Lady Bantams earned two doubleheader sweeps over Wake Tech Softball and Southwest Virginia Community.

On Saturday February 21 at The Coop, they defeated Wake 12-0 and 5-4.
In the opener, Prokopchuk powered the offense with four RBIs on two doubles, helping the Bantams pull away early. Taylor got USC Union on the board with a two-run single in the first inning, and Thompson added an RBI single in the second. The Bantams broke the game open in the third and fourth innings, highlighted by run-scoring doubles from Prokopchuk and Gainey during a five-run fourth. Pettit dominated in the circle, allowing just three hits over five shutout innings while striking out seven. USC Union totaled 12 hits and played error-free defense, with Taylor and Avant collecting three hits apiece.
The second game provided late-inning drama as Prokopchuk delivered again, blasting a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh for a 5-4 walk-off victory. Evans gave the Bantams an early spark with an RBI double in the second, and Brown added a sacrifice fly in the third. Wake Tech rallied to tie the game in the fifth, but Heitman held steady in a complete-game effort. Stevens led the offense in the nightcap with three hits, and Evans drove in two runs as the Lady Bantams secured the sweep.
The Lady Bantams completed a dominant Sunday sweep of Southwest Virginia Community College with 25-0 and 9-1 victories at The Coop.In the opener, Prokopchuk powered the Bantams with five RBIs on three hits, including a three-run home run in the first inning. The Lady Bantams added six runs in the second and six more in the third, with Rumsey and Taylor delivering key extra-base hits as part of a 20-hit performance. Pettit controlled the circle, allowing just two hits over five shutout innings while striking out seven. Rumsey led the offense with four hits, while Taylor, Brown and Thompson each added multiple hits.
In game two, USC Union rolled to a 9-1 win behind another strong pitching effort from Heitman, who allowed one unearned run over five innings. The Bantams broke open the game in the third inning with RBI singles from Horton, Jennings and Pelletier. Coates drove in two runs, and the Lady Bantams backed their pitching with steady defense to secure the sweep.
