Kristie Littlejohn Kendall, USCU’s Lady Bantam’s Volleyball Coach, is a native of Gaffney, SC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Limestone College and a Master’s in Executive Leadership and doctorate in Education Curriculum from Liberty University.

In high school, Kristie played volleyball and basketball and ran track. She has coached both lady’s volleyball and boy’s basketball throughout her career.
Kristie’s favorite USC Union memory so far has been seeing the team’s reaction to their locker room in the newly renovated Truluck gym.
A fun fact about Kristie is that she held a high school record as the first girl to compete in pole vault.
“My goal for this year is to establish a program that thrives on teamwork and energy,” she said. “We want to create an environment that strengthens athletes, physically and mentally, through the lessons imparted by sports. While the short-term goal is to prepare them to transfer to 4-year institutions, the long-term goal is to prepare them for life.”

USC Union Golf Coach Gil Moss is from Laurens, SC. He holds a bachelor’s in Physical Education and Coaching from Newberry College. Besides being an avid golfer, Gil also played baseball for a short time during college. Gil worked in insurance for 28 years.
In his free time, Gil enjoys fishing. His primary goal for the semester is for the team to win all their tournaments!
