Marc Curlee, USC Union’s Head Men’s Soccer Coach, is a native of Greenville, SC. He is a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force, and has played soccer for numerous teams, including Mauldin Soccer Club, Hillcrest High School, and the US Air Force PAC AF team.

Marc has been coaching since 1999, and coached youth soccer in Misawa, Japan, YMCA soccer, and Carolina Elite soccer before joining the USC Union Team!
A fun fact about Marc is that he loves the outdoors. “My goal for this year is to win region,” he said.

John Mills is USC Union’s Head Women’s Soccer Coach. He is originally from Flint, Michigan, but now lives in Lexington, SC. He holds a bachelor’s in Social Education from Central Michigan University and a master’s in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.
John has previous coaching experience as the boy’s soccer coach at American Leadership Academy, the men’s soccer coach at Denmark Tech, the assistant soccer coach at Columbia College, and the head girl’s soccer coach at Richland Northeast High School.
John says he is “so new” to campus that he doesn’t have a favorite USC Union memory yet. “The people are great here,” he said. A fun fact about John is that he has done short-term mission trips to Tanzania, Honduras, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Peru. In his free time, he enjoys cooking (and eating)!
As for his goals for the season, Mills says, “Fall seven, rise eight.”
