The Bantam Anglers team of Tanner Hadden and Caleb Hudson is sitting at #1 in the point standings for the College Bass Lunkers Trail as they go into their last points event of the year!
Hadden and Hudson are leading the Team of the Year points due to a 4th Place finish at Lake Murray, a 5th Place finish at Clark’s Hill, and a 7th Place finish at Douglas Lake, all National Events with around 250 boats competing.
The two anglers have also started their own businesses. They own and operate Top Marine Technicians, a business that specializes in installing Marine Electronics on boats. Hadden also operates Tanner Hadden Guide Service and stays busy helping teach clients how to catch fish on Clarks Hill Lake. He recently broke the Clarks Hill record for the biggest Spotted Bass weighed on certified scales. It weighed 5.45lbs.
This week, the team will compete in Texas at Sam Rayburn and try to seal up the Top Team of the Year. The Top 3 teams in the overall Bassmaster College Team of the Year standings — regardless of division — and the National Champions will advance to the College Classic Bracket to compete head-to-head in bracket-style competition for a berth in the iconic Bassmaster Classic World Championship. Hopefully, with a good finish and a little bit of luck over the next few months, there will be a Bantam in the Bassmaster Classic!
