Catch Up With The Bantam Anglers!

On Jan. 5, the team of Mark Kershaw and Jacob Butts finished 7th out of 250 at the most recent Major League Fishing College Series Event on the Harris Chain of Lakes in Florida. Jacob Butts landed the big fish of the tournament with a giant 10lb 11oz largemouth. Isaac Greene and Bryson Holderness finished 71st out of 250 in the same event. The team is currently ranked #14 in the MLF National Rankings. After that event, Kershaw and Butts fished the MLF National Championship the following week on Lake Toho and finished 38th.

On January 27, Tanner Hadden and Caleb Hudson, placed 4th in the College Bass Series event is Lake Murray Country, finishing against 250 of the best teams in the nation. They also qualified for the 2024 Bassmaster College National Championship.

The team is currently competing in the College Bass Event at Clarks Hill Lake. Hadden and Hudson finished the first day in 12th place out of 244 boats. On Feb. 2, they finished the competition with a 17lb catch, placing 5th overall!

As a program, the Bantam Anglers are currently ranked 35th in the nation out of 450+ schools.
